The AfroSonic Collective is four Djs: DubLN, Blackdove, Nick De Paris, & MikeDelick along with live percussion by Jesus Andujar and Caesar Pena. While all coming from different Djaying backgrounds, the Collective came together determined to cultivate a unique sound and build a community that embraces the idea that music can bring people together and celebrate life, love, and dance.

Pioneering a sound that nods to both the past and future, our deep rooted afro soul genre is the driving energy behind our sets. Think - Paradise Garage meets The Shrine - and you'll get an idea of what to expect at our AfroSonic parties. Currently held monthly at State Lounge and The Salon in Providence RI.

A continuous mix of underground dance music, incorporating soul, funk, R&B, Classics, infusing Jazz, Salsa, Reggae/Dub, and World Music.

"Think Tank Bistro features globally influenced comfort food with an Asian flare. The interior is a stylishly divey 1970's inspired setting. Warm wood tones, vinyl cushioned booths, 16 seat bar, and funky lounge make for a versatile space; while a 2am closing time Thursday through Saturday. Live music and local DJ's as well as a custom jukebox, old school video games, many tvs and a photo booth... are sure to entice a good time and some great stories."
